We are seeking an Environmental Consultant to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental science and consulting, capable of delivering effective solutions for clients while ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the ecological impact of development proposals.
• Recommend pollution prevention measures to clients.
• Support project planning with environmental risk assessments.
• Establish metrics for assessing environmental performance.
• Lead environmental compliance audits and reporting.
• Coordinate with governmental agencies regarding compliance matters.
• Mentor junior staff and provide training on environmental consulting.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies, Science or similar field
• Master's degree in a related field is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of relevant experience in environmental consultancy
