Job Description

The Recreation Supervisor oversees and coordinates the planning, implementation, and evaluation of recreational activities within a designated facility or program. This role ensures that programs are inclusive, fun, and safe for all participants, enhancing community engagement through various leisure activities.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of recreational facilities.
  • Create marketing materials to promote programs and events.
  • Maintain accurate records of program participation and feedback.
  • Implement health and safety protocols in all activities.
  • Foster relationships with local schools and organizations for program partnerships.
  • Evaluate program success and propose improvements.
  • Assist with the recruitment and onboarding of new staff.
  • Ensure compliance with all local regulations and policies.
  • Plan budget allocations for future programs.
  • Coordinate training sessions for staff on program execution.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Recreation Management or related fields
Experience
  • At least 3 years in recreational leadership or event planning roles
