Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dental care and treatment to patients.
• Execute preventative and restorative procedures effectively.
• Maintain and build strong patient relationships.
• Supervise dental hygiene staff and coordinate patient care.
• Actively participate in staff meetings and continuing education.
• Ensure all dental practices meet professional standards and regulations.
• Assist in marketing efforts to attract new patients.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS)
• Specialization in Oral Surgery or Periodontology is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of varied dental experience

Technical Skills

• Oral Surgery
• Patient Management

• Problem-solving
• Empathy

Certifications

• HPCSA Certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Proficiency in a second language: Ability to communicate in Afrikaans or isiXhosa is beneficial.
• Experience in cosmetic dentistry: Knowledge of aesthetic procedures and techniques.
