We are seeking an experienced Environmental Consultant to join our growing team in Durban. As an Environmental Consultant, you will advise clients on environmental best practices, conduct assessments, and develop sustainable solutions tailored to their needs. The ideal candidate is passionate about the environment and has a keen understanding of local and international environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from initiation through completion, ensuring client satisfaction.
• Conduct expert reviews of existing environmental policies and practices.
• Facilitate workshops and seminars for clients on environmental best practices.
• Draft and submit applications for environmental permits.
• Research and implement innovative solutions to environmental challenges.
• Collaborate with academic institutions for research and development projects.
• Mentor junior consultants and provide training on environmental practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Master's degree in a relevant discipline is an asset

Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant environmental project experience
