UX Designer

Job Description

As a UX Designer in our Cape Town office, you will lead the design process for our projects. Your role will include user research, creating personas, wireframes, and interactive prototypes. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure that all designs meet functional and aesthetic expectations. Responsibilities

• Lead design workshops and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.
• Develop design specifications and documentation for handoff to developers.
• Ensure that all designs meet accessibility and usability standards.
• Participate in design critiques and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in UX design.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Interaction Design or related field

Experience

• 3+ years of UX/UI design experience

Technical Skills

• Adobe Creative Suite
• HTML/CSS

Certifications

• Interaction Design Foundation Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with design thinking methodologies: Experience in applying design thinking in project workflow.
