We are on the lookout for a skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. Your role will involve designing robust cloud architectures and implementing cloud-based solutions to improve business processes. You will work closely with various departments to understand their technological needs and create strategies that leverage cloud capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of cloud infrastructures using various cloud service providers.
• Conduct cost analyses to ensure budget adherence for cloud projects.
• Facilitate workshops to educate staff on cloud capabilities and services.
• Collaborate on agile project teams to enhance cloud offerings and features.
• Draft documentation for cloud architecture designs and operational guidelines.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience as a Cloud Solutions Architect

Technical Skills

• Kubernetes

• Leadership

Certifications

• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Familiarity with cloud security best practices: Strong understanding of cloud security protocols and practices.
