Job Description

We are on the lookout for a dynamic E-commerce Manager to spearhead our online sales efforts in Durban. This role involves developing comprehensive marketing strategies to drive traffic and boost sales on our platform. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in the e-commerce sector, along with a passion for optimizing consumer experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Formulate and execute effective e-commerce marketing strategies to boost sales.
  • Manage the e-commerce platform’s content, ensuring it is aligned with the brand image.
  • Analyze and interpret online data to improve customer engagement.
  • Direct promotional strategies through various digital platforms.
  • Ensure effective inventory control and order fulfillment processes.
  • Collaborate with design teams to create engaging website visuals.
  • Evaluate competitors' strategies to keep the business competitive.
  • Lead and mentor the e-commerce team for optimal productivity.
  • Nurture relationships with affiliate partners to enhance reach.
  • Plan and execute seasonal or holiday marketing campaigns.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
  • Master's degree in a related field is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of e-commerce experience with a focus on digital marketing
