Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in Johannesburg. Your responsibilities will include patient care management, medication administration, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver optimal healthcare services. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills and a desire to make a difference in patient lives.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical exams and interpret patient data.
• Coordinate patient care across multiple departments.
• Educate new staff on protocols and best practices.
• Engage in health promotion and disease prevention activities.
• Document all aspects of patient care in an accurate and timely manner.
• Manage patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Support families during critical health situations.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Provide compassionate care and support to patients.
• Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Nursing or equivalent qualification
• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans is advantageous

Experience

• 1-3 years of practical nursing experience preferred

Technical Skills

• EHR Software Proficiency
• Infection Control Practices

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Adaptability

Certifications

• First Aid Certification
• Advanced Nursing Practice Certification (preferred)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic
