Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Consultant to join our Pretoria team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in protecting our clients' information systems from cyber threats. You will assess security risks, develop strategies, and implement robust security measures to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of data.

Responsibilities

• Lead security initiatives to safeguard digital assets.
• Develop incident response strategies and protocols.
• Educate clients on emerging cyber threats.
• Perform risk assessments to identify weaknesses.
• Engage in research to improve security methodologies.
• Collaborate with law enforcement on security matters.
• Draft and update security documentation as required.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• At least 4 years of cybersecurity experience

Technical Skills

• Malware Analysis
• Penetration Testing

• Interpersonal Skills

Certifications

• CompTIA Security+
• Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

• Expertise in Threat Hunting: Ability to proactively hunt for threats within systems.
• Experience with Security Frameworks: Familiarity with frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27001.
