Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SEO Specialist to join our team in Cape Town. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective SEO strategies that increase organic traffic and enhance online visibility. The ideal candidate will have a sound knowledge of search engine algorithms, keyword research, and SEO tools.

Responsibilities

• Research and analyse competitors' SEO strategies.
• Execute link-building campaigns to enhance site authority.
• Conduct regular performance reviews of team SEO efforts.
• Provide actionable insights based on data analysis to improve SEO outcomes.
• Engage in continuous learning to improve SEO skills and stay current with industry advancements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in SEO or digital marketing

Technical Skills

• SEO Tools (e.g. SEMrush, Ahrefs)
• Google Analytics

Soft Skills

• Analytical Thinking
• Communication

Certifications

• Google Analytics Certified
• SEO Certification from a recognised institution

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with PPC campaigns: Knowledge of managing performance marketing strategies.
• Familiarity with HTML and website development: Understanding of basic coding and website structure.
