Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Internal Auditor to join our esteemed auditing team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in evaluating and improving the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes. You will conduct audits, assist in liaising with clients, and work closely with various departments to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform audit assessments and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop audit programs and methodologies.
• Prepare audit reports and presentations for stakeholders.
• Support the audit team with various projects as required.
• Conduct follow-ups on audit recommendations to ensure implementation.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulations and audit standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration
• Master's degree or MBA is a plus

Experience

• 4-6 years of experience in auditing or compliance roles

Certifications

• CIMA Certification
• ACCA Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
