We are seeking an innovative Architect to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be instrumental in designing residential and commercial buildings, with a focus on sustainable and functional architecture. You will collaborate closely with clients and contractors, ensuring that the projects meet high standards of quality and aesthetics.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop architectural plans for various projects.
• Collaborate with clients to define project requirements.
• Conduct site visits and evaluations to assess project feasibility.
• Prepare detailed drawings and specifications for construction.
• Review and approve contractor submissions and shop drawings.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
• Manage project timelines and budgets to ensure timely delivery.
• Present design ideas to clients and stakeholders.
• Incorporate sustainable practices into design solutions.
• Mentor junior architects and interns within the team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture
• Master's degree in Architecture is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in architectural project management

• Adobe Creative Suite

Certifications

• Registered Architect

Languages

• English: Fluent
