We are currently seeking a skilled Accountant to join our vibrant team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Responsibilities

• Prepare and file statutory financial statements.
• Assist in developing annual budgets and forecasts.
• Support internal and external audit processes.
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns.
• Maintain the fixed asset register and ensure asset tracking.
• Monitor cash flow and prepare cash forecasts.
• Report on variances between budgets and actual expenditure.
• Provide insights into financial performance and improve efficiencies.
• Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded.
• Review and analyze monthly financial data for accuracy.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Master's degree in Accounting preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in accounting or financial analysis roles.

Certifications

• ACCA Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
