We are searching for an experienced Tax Consultant to join our East London team. This role involves providing expert tax advice, ensuring compliance with regulations, and assisting clients in tax planning strategies. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of South African tax legislation and excellent analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze client financial data to prepare tax documents.
• Develop tax-saving strategies to benefit clients.
• Manage communications with clients regarding their tax matters.
• Stay updated on current trends in tax legislation.
• Review tax returns prepared by junior staff for accuracy.
• Provide expert guidance during tax audits.
• Collaborate with legal teams to manage tax-related inquiries.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Postgraduate qualification in Taxation is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in taxation is required
