Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Structural Engineering Lead to join our team in Sandton. The successful candidate will oversee various structural engineering projects, ensuring they are executed on time and within budget while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the structural design process, ensuring adherence to project specifications and regulations.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver complex projects efficiently.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments on structural projects.
• Engage with clients to gather requirements and manage their expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review and approve project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones.
• Facilitate team meetings, promoting collaboration and problem-solving.
• Take charge of project presentations and documentation for stakeholders.
• Enhance internal processes and methodologies for better project execution.
• Champion safety initiatives and best practices on-site.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the engineering department.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Master's degree in Engineering Management is a plus

Experience

• 7+ years of experience, with 3 in a senior position

Certifications
