Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Machine Feeder and Offbearer, where you will operate spike machines and monitor their performance. Your role will involve routine maintenance and the ability to solve problems quickly to ensure uninterrupted production flow.

Responsibilities

• Manage the operation of spike machines for optimal performance.
• Conduct regular maintenance checks to ensure machine reliability.
• Adjust temperature settings as required during production.
• Work closely with production supervisors to align with safety standards.
• Proactively communicate any equipment issues to the maintenance team.
• Assist in training new staff on machine operations and safety.
• Document production output and machine performance metrics.

Requirements

Education

• Technical qualification in manufacturing or engineering is an advantage

Experience

• Experience operating industrial machinery is preferred

Technical Skills

• Temperature control systems knowledge
• Basic electrical knowledge

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Time management

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles: Understanding of Lean methodologies to improve operational efficiency.
• Experience in a quality control role: Prior experience in maintaining quality standards is an advantage.
