Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and innovative Event Coordinator to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills and a flair for creativity, ensuring the seamless execution of various events ranging from corporate functions to private celebrations.

Responsibilities

  • Create event budgets and manage expenses effectively.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to promote events across channels.
  • Develop event timelines and coordinate schedule.
  • Engage in contract negotiations with external partners.
  • Oversee event set-up, execution, and breakdown processes.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
  • Provide post-event analysis and reports to clients.
  • Manage event-related correspondence and documentation.
  • Ensure a high level of customer service before, during, and after events.
  • Assist in creating event materials such as invitations and brochures.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Event Management or related field
Experience
  • Previous experience in event planning or hospitality roles is preferred
