Electrical Engineer

Job Description

We require an innovative Electrical Engineer to support our various engineering projects in Pretoria. You will apply your technical expertise in electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively will be key to your success in this position.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed electrical designs and schematics based on project specifications.
• Evaluate and select appropriate materials and components for electrical systems.
• Assist in project planning, budgeting, and oversight of electrical projects.
• Create and maintain project documentation, including schedules and reports.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineering staff.
• Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide innovative solutions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in electrical engineering

Technical Skills

• Circuit Design
• AutoCAD
• Power Systems

Certifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) License
• Certified Energy Manager (CEM)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in renewable energy systems: Knowledge of solar and wind energy systems and their installation.
• Familiarity with engineering software: Experience with MATLAB, ETAP, or similar software.
