Job Description

We are looking for a Structural Engineer to join our team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural design, analysis, and project management, with the ability to work on various building projects. You'll be responsible for ensuring that all projects adhere to the highest engineering standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of structural engineering projects.
• Prepare and review project proposals and budgets.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for holistic project delivery.
• Conduct materials testing and analysis as needed.
• Utilise software tools for structural analysis and design.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers on best practices.
• Engage with clients to understand project needs and expectations.
• Ensure all projects are completed within scope, time, and quality standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Professional Engineer registration is preferred

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in structural engineering projects

Technical Skills

• Design Software
• Structural Analysis

Certifications

• Certified Structural Engineer (CStrucE)
• Quality Management certification is a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent
