Job Description

We are looking for a knowledgeable and passionate Public Health Specialist to join our team in Cape Town. The candidate will be responsible for enhancing community health initiatives, conducting health assessments, and developing strategies for disease prevention and health promotion.

Responsibilities

• Research and analyze public health challenges facing the community.
• Provide guidance on health policy development.
• Perform outreach activities to create awareness on health issues.
• Compile and analyze data for public health reports.
• Train community workers in health education techniques.
• Serve as a liaison between the organization and community stakeholders.
• Develop marketing materials to promote health programs.
• Monitor and evaluate program impacts and results.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences or related field
• Master's degree in Health Administration is a plus

• 4+ years of experience managing public health initiatives
