Choral Director

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Choral Director to lead our choir in perfecting their vocal harmonies and musical performances.

Responsibilities

• Design a varied choral curriculum that promotes vocal development for different levels.
• Encourage creativity and expression among choir members through engaging rehearsals.
• Assess choir members' vocal progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Establish a positive rehearsal environment that fosters collaboration and teamwork.
• Organise community outreach performances to promote choral music and raise awareness.
• Work closely with the Artistic Director to align choir objectives with the organisation's vision.
• Integrate technology into rehearsals and performances, using apps and software to enhance learning.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Music, Choral Conducting, or Music Education preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in leading choirs of various sizes

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in music production: Experience in music production or audio engineering is a plus.
