We are looking for a Network Support Specialist to join our Durban team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining network systems, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and ensuring high availability of network resources.
Responsibilities
Actively monitor network traffic and performance to identify issues.
Install and configure network hardware and software.
Provide feedback on network performance and suggest improvements.
Assist in developing policies for network use and security.
Document all network changes, configurations, and maintenance activities.
Respond to network incidents quickly to resolve issues.
Assist in testing the network for reliability and security.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Networking
Related certifications (e.g. CCNP) are a plus
Experience
3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in network support
