Network Support Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a Network Support Specialist to join our Durban team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining network systems, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and ensuring high availability of network resources.

Responsibilities

• Actively monitor network traffic and performance to identify issues.
• Install and configure network hardware and software.
• Provide feedback on network performance and suggest improvements.
• Assist in developing policies for network use and security.
• Document all network changes, configurations, and maintenance activities.
• Respond to network incidents quickly to resolve issues.
• Assist in testing the network for reliability and security.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Networking
• Related certifications (e.g. CCNP) are a plus

Experience

• 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in network support

• IP Addressing

Certifications

• CompTIA Security+
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals

Languages

• English: Advanced
