Become a valued member of our dental practice as a Dental Hygienist. You will be responsible for conducting thorough cleanings, providing patient education, and assisting with treatments. Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with dental office policies and health regulations.
• Engage in community outreach to educate about dental hygiene.
• Attend professional development workshops and conferences.
• Develop patient-specific care plans in collaboration with the dentist.
• Conduct follow-up visits to check on patient progress.
• Assist in training new staff and hygienists.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Monitor inventory of dental supplies and equipment.
• Provide support in administrative tasks related to patient care.
• Foster a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for patients.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Dental Hygiene
• Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in dental hygiene

• Advanced radiographic techniques
• Oral health education

Certifications

• National Dental Board exams
• Infection Control certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Conversational
