We are seeking an experienced Aerospace Safety Engineer to join our team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aerospace safety protocols and regulations, ensuring that all designs and operations meet industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and enforce safety management systems for aerospace projects.
• Implement training sessions regarding safety regulations for all staff members.
• Assess and improve safety procedures in line with industry best practices.
• Collaborate with quality assurance to ensure product safety and reliability.
• Conduct risk assessments to determine safety hazards in projects.
• Serve as a point of contact for safety-related queries and compliance issues.
• Maintain accurate safety records and documentation for audits.
• Review safety compliance with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety culture within the company.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field
• Certification in Safety Management Systems is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years in safety engineering within aerospace environments
