DevOps Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated DevOps Engineer to enhance our cloud infrastructure and drive efficiency within our software engineering processes. The successful candidate will work in close collaboration with development and operations teams to automate and streamline workflows.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage Kubernetes clusters for container orchestration.
• Automate repetitive tasks to reduce manual interventions.
• Work with development teams to integrate and deploy new applications.
• Analyse system performance and make recommendations for improvement.
• Engage in incident management and resolution.
• Collaborate with management to develop strategic DevOps initiatives.
• Assist in the transition to a microservices architecture.
• Conduct regular audits of systems and processes to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology
• Master's degree in Cybersecurity or related field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps practices

Technical Skills

• Terraform
• Ansible

Certifications

• Google Professional Cloud Architect
• Scrum Master Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Understanding of security protocols: Knowledge of best practices regarding cloud security and data protection.
• Advanced knowledge of Python or Go: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Go for automation tasks.
