Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our growing team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will contribute to various projects focused on mechanical systems, ensuring high-quality output and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Set up and test mechanical systems to ensure they meet specifications.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians.
• Evaluate existing mechanical systems for efficiency improvements.
• Liaise with suppliers for parts and equipment procurement.
• Train team members on equipment operation and maintenance.

Requirements

Education

• Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent
• Further training in specialized mechanical areas is a plus

Experience

• At least 5 years of relevant mechanical experience

• Advanced Mechanical Systems
• Project Management Software

Certifications

• OSHA Safety Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Conversational

• Experience with 3D printing technology: Hands-on experience with additive manufacturing processes.
