Pharmacist

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Pharmacist to join our dynamic pharmacy in Cape Town. Your role will involve providing essential pharmaceutical care, educating patients on medication, and supporting the health and well-being of the community.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications in a timely manner according to pharmacy policies.
• Consult with patients regarding their medication therapies.
• Maintain organized and accurate patient files.
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings for patient care discussions.
• Train new staff and assist with onboarding processes.
• Implement strategies for improving patient medication adherence.
• Monitor stock levels and notify management of shortages.
• Assist in the development of pharmacy protocols and practice guidelines.
• Respond to medication queries from healthcare providers.
• Participate in educational seminars and workshops.

Requirements

Education

• Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in clinical pharmacy settings
