Job Description

Join our team as a First-Line Supervisor of Production and Operating Workers, where you will oversee daily operations in the die casting department. We are looking for a strong leader to ensure production targets are met while maintaining the highest quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of the die casting department.
  • Ensure team members are trained in safety protocols and quality standards.
  • Monitor production metrics and implement necessary improvements.
  • Conduct regular quality checks and address any issues promptly.
  • Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
  • Foster a team-oriented and collaborative work environment.
  • Document and report any incidents or safety violations.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity.
  • Provide coaching and support to team members.
  • Represent the production team in cross-departmental meetings.

Requirements

Education
  • Relevant diploma in Manufacturing or Engineering
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred but not essential
Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing
Technical Skills
  • Experience with CAD software and die casting machines
  • Knowledge of quality assurance processes
Soft Skills
  • Team collaboration and motivational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
Certifications
  • Certified Production Technician (CPT)
Languages
  • English: Fluent
