Job Description

A General Practitioner (GP) is needed in our Pretoria practice. You will be responsible for diagnosing and managing patient care, performing routine examinations, and providing education on health maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and medical histories of patients.
• Diagnose and manage medical conditions effectively.
• Provide preventive care and health education to patients.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Keep detailed patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff for multidisciplinary care.
• Participate in community health initiatives and outreach.
• Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and laws.
• Attend professional development activities to remain current in the field.
• Work effectively in a team environment.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent medical degree
• Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience post-registration
