IT Support Technician

Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic IT Support Technician to join our Bloemfontein team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our clients and internal teams, ensuring all hardware and software issues are resolved timely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Manage the IT help desk and provide exceptional user support.
• Identify recurrent issues and work towards permanent fixes.
• Coordinate with external vendors for hardware and software repairs.
• Assist in managing user accounts and permissions.
• Ensure compliance with data security policies.
• Participate in IT projects and contribute ideas.
• Provide insights for improving IT processes and user experience.
• Help maintain inventory for IT equipment and supplies.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in IT Support or related field
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in technical support roles

Technical Skills

• Linux OS

Certifications

• ITIL Foundation

Languages
