Accountant

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to manage our financial operations in Pretoria. The successful candidate will work closely with management to provide financial insights that enhance business decisions and maintain compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage cash flow forecasting and reporting.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements.
• Monitor compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
• Work collaboratively with other departments to improve financial planning.
• Research and resolve any accounting discrepancies.
• Prepare various financial reports as requested by management.
• Evaluate financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Implement cost control measures.
• Ensure payroll is processed accurately and timely.
• Document processes and procedures for accounting tasks.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Professional qualification (e.g. CA(SA), ACCA) is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in accounting

Languages

• English: Fluent
