As a Veterinarian at our Port Elizabeth clinic, you will engage with a diverse range of pets, providing them with the care they deserve. Your duties will include clinical assessments, surgical procedures, and educating pet owners about preventative care and nutrition. Responsibilities

• Examine and diagnose illnesses in pets and livestock
• Develop treatment protocols and monitor recovery
• Perform routine surgeries such as spaying and neutering
• Administer medications and vaccinations as needed
• Engage with pet owners to educate them concerning health management
• Maintain and sterilize equipment used during procedures
• Respond to emergencies with prompt and effective treatment
• Participate in community outreach to promote pet health awareness
• Train and mentor junior staff in veterinary practices and procedures

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc)
• Registration with the South African Veterinary Council (SAVC)

Experience

• 2+ years of clinical experience with animals
