Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Construction Site Engineer to oversee and manage construction activities in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate should possess robust engineering knowledge, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead site meetings with contractors and suppliers.
• Review and approve work completed by subcontractors to ensure it meets specifications.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of construction regulations and best practices.
• Support in project planning and develop strategies for successful project execution.
• Facilitate training and development for site team members.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management

Experience

• 5 years of experience in site engineering for large-scale projects

• Cost Estimation
• Scheduling Software

Soft Skills

• Time Management
• Negotiation

Certifications

• Construction Safety Training Certification
• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Proficiency in Revit: Experience in using Revit for BIM (Building Information Modeling).
• Knowledge of project finance and risk management: Ability to assess financial feasibility of projects.
