Job Description

We are in search of a skilled Backend Developer to join our team in Johannesburg. This role requires a strong grasp of server-side technologies to develop efficient APIs and ensure the performance of our applications. You will collaborate closely with front-end developers to integrate tasks and deliver robust software solutions that meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Write clean and maintainable code for backend functionalities.
• Ensure the scalability of applications through cloud services.
• Monitor application performance and ensure reliability.
• Engage in iterative feedback and iterations based on testing.
• Maintain logs and documentation of application changes.
• Assist in troubleshooting and optimizing third-party services.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or a related field

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in software development
