Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Software Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing the performance of IT systems, identifying issues, and recommending enhancements to improve overall efficiency and user experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test plans for applications.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to align on project timelines.
• Ensure that final products meet quality and performance standards.
• Establish and maintain effective communication with stakeholders.
• Participate in system integration testing and user acceptance testing.
• Continuously refine and enhance testing strategies based on project needs.
• Generate comprehensive test reports and documentation for future reference.
• Stay updated on the latest testing tools and methodologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Additional certifications related to IT performance are preferred

Experience

• 4-6 years of experience in IT performance monitoring and analysis

Technical Skills

• Experience in agile methodologies
• Test automation tools (e.g., Selenium)

Soft Skills

• Team collaboration
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• ISTQB Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of virtualization technologies: Experience with tools such as VMware or Hyper-V.
