Job Description

We are currently seeking a motivated Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team in Durban. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations. You will work closely with various stakeholders to design, plan, and implement civil engineering projects.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and assist in the planning and execution of engineering projects.
  • Review project plans and specifications for technical accuracy.
  • Mentor junior engineers and assist in professional development.
  • Monitor construction work to ensure compliance with design specifications.
  • Facilitate communication between clients and internal teams.
  • Ensure adherence to project deadlines and budgets.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Postgraduate qualification in Structural Engineering is an asset
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in civil engineering design and project management
