Warehouse Manager

Job Description

As a Warehouse Manager, you will lead our warehouse team in Durban, focusing on optimizing storage and shipping processes and ensuring compliance with safety regulations for seamless logistics operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the warehouse team to achieve operational goals and KPIs.
• Implement best practices for inventory management and supply chain coordination.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with standards.
• Track and report on warehouse performance metrics.
• Facilitate training and development for staff in warehouse operations.
• Coordinate with suppliers and logistics partners for efficient shipping.
• Develop and enforce operational policies and procedures.
• Respond to and resolve any operational issues promptly.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Logistics or related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a warehouse environment

Technical Skills

• Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Data Analysis

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Time Management

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles: Knowledge of lean practices to optimize warehouse flow and efficiency.
