We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team in Port Elizabeth. This role involves protecting our networks, systems, and data from security breaches and ensuring compliance with industry standards. You will have a pivotal role in identifying vulnerabilities, implementing security measures, and responding to incidents.

Responsibilities

• Review and enhance existing cybersecurity policies.
• Participate in security incident response drills.
• Conduct threat hunting exercises and research.
• Advise management on potential security risks.
• Support compliance with GDPR and other regulations.
• Engage in continuous learning and professional development.
• Document all security protocols and processes.
• Present security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Certifications such as CISA or CompTIA Security+ are beneficial

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in IT security roles
