We are seeking a dedicated Physiotherapist to join our dynamic team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping patients recover and improve their mobility. Your role will involve assessing and treating patients with physical challenges, developing personalized treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and analyze patient conditions to inform treatment approaches.
• Design effective care plans in collaboration with medical staff.
• Implement evidence-based interventions to enhance patient outcomes.
• Educate patients about their conditions and expected recovery timelines.
• Promote a safe and supportive environment for all patients.
• Monitor and report any changes in patient conditions promptly.
• Participate in community outreach programs to raise awareness about physiotherapy.
• Mentor and supervise junior physiotherapists and interns.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy or related field
• Master's degree in Physiotherapy is an added advantage

Experience

• 3+ years in a clinical setting preferred.

• Rehabilitation techniques
• Therapeutic modalities

Soft Skills

• Adaptability
• Critical thinking

Certifications

• Advanced First Aid Certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Kinesiology taping: Experience in adjunctive treatments to enhance recovery.
• Background in geriatric physiotherapy: Experience working with elderly patients for injury prevention and rehabilitation.
