Job Description

We are looking for a Chemical Engineer with a solid background in process design and optimization to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and improving chemical processes that enhance production efficiency while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct environmental risk assessments and hazard evaluations.
• Develop training materials and workshops for staff on sustainability.
• Research innovative technologies for environmental protection.
• Support the implementation of renewable energy solutions.
• Manage a team of junior engineers and environmental technicians.
• Prepare budget proposals for environmental projects.
• Engage with stakeholders to promote sustainability awareness.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Environmental Studies or related field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in environmental consultancy
