UX/UI Designer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for an imaginative UX/UI Designer to join our talented team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate should have a strong portfolio showcasing their design skills and demonstrate a keen understanding of user experience principles. You will be instrumental in creating user interfaces that are not only visually captivating but also provide a seamless user experience.

Responsibilities

• Create user-centered designs by understanding business requirements and user needs.
• Prototype and test concepts to gather user feedback and iterate quickly.
• Facilitate design critiques and present ideas to stakeholders effectively.
• Develop user personas and journey maps to guide design processes.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to align design strategies with business goals.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Design or related field
• Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in UX/UI design with a strong portfolio

Technical Skills

• Sketch
• User Research Methods

Certifications

• UX Certification from Nielsen Norman Group
• Certified Interaction Designer

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile practices for iterative design processes.
• Experience with A/B Testing: Ability to conduct A/B testing to refine designs based on user feedback.
