Production Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a proactive Production Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in production processes, quality control, and team management. You will be responsible for optimizing production efficiency while ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the entire production process from planning to execution.
• Ensure the quality control process is adhered to throughout production.
• Facilitate communication between departments to improve workflow.
• Manage the budget for the production department and ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Analyze production data and trends to inform decision-making.
• Lead efforts to maintain a safe working environment and compliance with regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Production Management or related field
• MBA is preferred

Experience

• 6+ years of experience in a similar role

Certifications

• Certified Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)
