Job Description

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our Johannesburg team. In this role, you will manage cloud infrastructure, automate deployment processes, and ensure the reliability of our applications. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in both software development and system administration, with a passion for automation and cloud technologies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the deployment of applications and manage cloud-based services.
• Utilize monitoring tools to ensure system health and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve deployment workflows.
• Develop scripts for automation and system integration.
• Implement continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines.
• Conduct performance tuning and optimization for applications.
• Maintain documentation and assist in training new team members.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related technical field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of relevant experience in DevOps
