Job Description

We are looking for an IT Support Specialist to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive technical support to our staff and clients, ensuring that systems run smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining systems, and implementing IT solutions.

Responsibilities

• Assist users with software upgrades and installations.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and resolve quickly.
• Ensure backups are performed regularly and restore data when necessary.
• Support the implementation of cybersecurity measures.
• Collaborate with the IT team on new projects and initiatives.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve service delivery.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Computer Science or related field is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of professional IT support experience

Certifications

• CompTIA A+
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals

Languages
