Preparation Plant Supervisor

Job Description

The Preparation Plant Supervisor will oversee the operations of the preparation plant, ensuring the efficient and safe processing of raw coal into saleable product. The successful candidate will manage a team, enforce safety protocols, and enhance productivity while maintaining compliance with environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Direct all aspects of plant operations including screening, crushing, and washing of coal
• Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement
• Facilitate cross-departmental meetings to optimize plant efficiency
• Manage inventory control and quality assurance processes
• Champion safety programmes and initiatives within the team

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Mining Technology or related field

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in a similar supervisory role
