Job Description

We are on the lookout for a talented Videographer to join our creative team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and the ability to capture engaging video content that tells compelling stories. You will work on a variety of projects, from corporate videos to promotional content.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and execute video projects from start to finish.
• Conduct post-production work, including color grading and sound editing.
• Develop storyboards and manage project timelines effectively.
• Collaborate with other creative professionals, such as graphic designers and audio engineers.
• Provide insights and ideas to improve the overall creative process.
• Participate in client meetings to discuss project direction and objectives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Film Production or related field
• Postgraduate qualification is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of professional experience in video production

Technical Skills

• Final Cut Pro
• Lighting Techniques

Soft Skills

• Collaboration
• Attention to Detail

Certifications

• Video Production Certification
• Adobe Certified Associate (ACA)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in live event videography: Skilled in capturing live events and editing footage quickly.
• Familiarity with social media video formats: Understanding of video formats optimal for social media platforms.
