We are seeking an innovative Fashion Designer to join our thriving studio in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will have a flair for creating modern, stylish designs, with the ability to translate concepts into visually appealing garments. You'll collaborate with our team to design seasonal collections and contribute to the overall brand vision.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed technical specifications for each design.
• Work closely with production teams to resolve design issues.
• Contribute to social media content to promote collections.
• Develop and maintain relationships with fabric suppliers.
• Attend trade shows and fashion events to network and promote the brand.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or Fine Arts
• Diploma in Fashion Design is a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role

Technical Skills

• Fashion CAD Software
• Sewing and Garment Construction

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Time Management

Certifications

• Certified Fashion Designer

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational
