Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team in Kimberley. You will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing various civil engineering projects that contribute to our community’s infrastructure. Your expertise will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to specifications, while adhering to safety and environmental standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of innovative civil engineering solutions.
• Collaborate with architects and planners on multidisciplinary projects.
• Ensure compliance with local, national, and international codes of practice.
• Monitor project progression and adjust plans as necessary.
• Facilitate communication between project teams and clients.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Master's degree in a relevant field is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on infrastructure projects

Technical Skills

• Civil 3D
• Microsoft Project

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Adaptability

Certifications

• LEED Certification
• Certified Engineering Technician (CET)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with green building practices: Knowledge in sustainable construction methods.
