Cybersecurity Specialist

Job Description

Join our team as a Cybersecurity Specialist, where you will be responsible for maintaining the overall security posture of our organization. You will work closely with IT and other departments to evaluate current security practices, develop new protocols, and conduct security audits and training sessions for employees to foster a security-focused culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of the organization's cybersecurity strategy.
• Oversee security operations and incident management.
• Create and review security policies and procedures regularly.
• Coordinate with external partners for security assessments.
• Evaluate new security solutions and provide recommendations.
• Prepare reports on security performance metrics for management.
• Ensure effective communication of security issues to stakeholders.
• Identify training needs for staff to improve cybersecurity awareness.
• Implement measures for data loss prevention.
• Support the execution of security awareness programs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field
• Professional certifications in Cybersecurity are preferred

Experience

• 4-6 years in cybersecurity or information security roles

• CompTIA Security+
• Cisco Certified CyberOps Associate

Languages

• English: Fluent
