As a Tax Specialist, your main focus will be on conducting tax research, preparing tax returns, and providing strategic tax advice. You will collaborate closely with our clients to optimize their tax positions while maintaining compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. Responsibilities

• Analyze financial records to determine tax obligations.
• Draft recommendations based on tax law research.
• Support clients through tax audits and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Collaborate on special tax projects and initiatives.
• Train junior staff on tax compliance procedures and best practices.
• Manage client relationships through effective communication and follow-ups.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Honours Degree or relevant postgraduate qualification is preferable

Experience

• 4+ years of progressive experience in a tax role

• Tax Regulations Knowledge

• Problem-solving
• Interpersonal Skills

Certifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is a plus
• Registered Tax Consultant certification is an asset

Languages

• English: Fluent
